Review - Tau Empire Battleforce

Po ostatniej premierze armii Tau i nowych jednostkach, Aiwis uparła się na nową armię. Mnie osobiście modele Tau podobały się od dawna jednak nie miałem zamiaru zbierać kolejnych figurek. Ale jak to zawsze bywa kobiecie ciężko odmówić :)

After the recent releases of the new units to Tau army, Aiwis insisted me to collect new army. I personally liked the Tau models for a long time but I was not going to collect the next figures. But as is always hard to refuse a woman :)

Pomimo ogromnych ilości niepomalowanych figurek w naszych zapasach w nasze ręce wpadły kolejne modele.

Despite the enormous amount of unpainted figures in our inventory, new models fall into our hands.

Oto przed wami nowy Battleforce do armii Tau.

Here it is. The new Tau Empire Battleforce.

Pierwsze w kolejności wypraski z Fire Warriorami. W zestawie mamy 3 takie wypraski, z których można złożyć 12 figurek we wszystkich potrzebnych opcjach. Modele są naprawdę ładne chociaż mają już swoje lata. Nowy battleforce zawiera oczywiście te same wypraski, które znajdziemy w standardowym boksie Fire Warriors.

The first are Fire Warriors sprues. This set contains 3 sprues, from which you can make 12 figures in all the required options. The models are really nice although they have some years. Of course new Battleforce includes the same sprues, which can be found in a standard Fire Warriors Box.

Następne w kolejności są wypraski z częściami, z których możemy zrobić 3 modele XV8 Crisis Battlesuits. Tak jak w przypadku Fire Warriorów oddane mamy do dyspozycji 3 wypraski. Możecie je zobaczyć poniżej. Modele te to te same formy jakie mogliście znaleźć w zwykłym pudełku z  XV8 Crisis Battlesuit'em. Zobaczyć je możecie na załączonych obrazkach.

Next one are sprues with three XV8 Crisis Battlesuits models. Just as in Fire Warriors box we have a three sprues. You can see them below. These models have the same forms that you can find in a regular box of XV8 Crisis Battlesuits. You can see them in the attached pictures.

Poniżej możecie zobaczyć wypraski z częściami do złożenia Pirani. Tutaj także nic się nie zmieniło w stosunku do tego co znajdziemy w standardowym pudełku pirani.

Below you can see the sprues with parts to make a Tau Piranha. This sprues are exactly the same compared to the standard Piranha box.

Poniżej możecie zobaczyć wypraski z częściami do złożenia trzech XV25 Stealth Battlesuit'ów. Części pozwalają na złożenie 3 modeli. Tutaj także nic się nie zmieniło w stosunku do tego co znajdziemy w standardowym pudełku.

Below you can see the sprues with parts to make a 3 Tau XV25 Stealth Battlesuits. Parts allow you to make 3 models. This sprues are exactly the same compared to the standard box.
 

W pudełku znajdziemy także 8 wyprasek pozwalających zrobić 8 sond.

In the box you will find an 8 sprues which allow you to build eight drones.

Oprócz modeli w pudełku znajdziemy: podstawki pod figurki, instrukcje składnia modeli oraz dwa arkusze kalkomanii.

In addition to the models in the box you will find: figure bases, instructions how to assemble models and two decal sheets.

Podsumowanie / Summary

W zestawie znajdziemy wszystkie modele, niezbędne graczom, którzy zaczynają przygodę z armią Tau. Jest to idealny początek armii i myślę, że warto rozpocząć zbieranie nowej armii właśnie od tego zestawu. Znajdziemy tutaj wszystkie podstawowe jednostki, a dodatkowym atutem jest cena, w porównaniu do kupowania poszczególnych figurek osobno. Battleforce może okazać się także przydatny dla tych którzy chcą powiększyć swoją armię. Chociaż dla weteranów tej armii nie będzie tutaj nic nowego.

In the box you will find all necessary models required to build your new Tau army. It is the perfect start to the army, and I think it is worth starting collecting a new army from this set. We find here all the basic units, and additional advantage is the price as compared to buying individual models separately. Battleforce may also be useful for those who want to expand their army. Although for veterans of this army will not be anything new in the box.

O jakości modeli nie będę się rozpisywał. Każdy widzi wszystko na załączonych fotkach. Możecie je ocenić sami.

I will not elaborate about quality of the models. Everyone sees everything on the attached photos. You can evaluate them yourself.

Flames of War Michael Wittmann

Michael Wittmann (ur. 22 kwietnia 1914 w Vogelthal, zginął 8 sierpnia 1944 w Cintheaux, rejon Caen) – niemiecki dowódca wojskowy, jeden z najskuteczniejszych czołgistów II wojny światowej.

Michael Wittmann (born April 22, 1914 in Vogelthal, died August 8, 1944 in Cintheaux, Caen area) - German military commander, one of the most effective tank crews World War II.

Na samym froncie wschodnim Wittmann zniszczył 119 radzieckich czołgów. Ogółem zalicza mu się zniszczenie 138 czołgów i 132 dział przeciwpancernych.

On the eastern front Wittmann destroyed 119 Soviet tanks. Total includes his destruction of 138 tanks and 132 antitank guns.

Śmierć / Death
W chwili śmierci Wittmann dowodził czołgiem typu Tiger I o numerze "007", jego jednostką był (uważany za elitarny) 101 Batalion Czołgów Ciężkich SS (niem. Schwere SS-Panzer-Abteilung 101). Najprawdopodobniej czołg, biorący udział w kontrataku na Saint-Aignan-de-Cramesnil, został zniszczony z ruin zamku w Gaumensil, leżącego na zachód od Saint Aignan, przez pocisk wystrzelony z Shermana, należącego do 4 Kanadyjskiej Dywizji Pancernej.

At the time of the death of Wittmann commanded a Tiger I tank number "007", the unit was (considered to be elite) 101 SS Heavy Tank Battalion (German: Schwere SS-Panzer-Abteilung 101). Most likely the tank, taking part in the counterattack at Saint-Aignan-de-Cramesnil was destroyed from the ruins of the castle in Gaumensil, lying west of Saint Aignan, by a missile fired from Sherman, belonging to four Canadian Armoured Division.

Review - 15mm Normans from Baueda Wargames

Jakiś czas temu nabyłem dwie paczuszki figurek z Bauedy. Dwa zestawy jazdy Normańskiej w skali 15mm. Chciałbym krótko zaprezentować te figurki.

Some time ago I bought two packets of Baueda figures. Two sets of Norman cavalry in 15mm scale. I would like to shortly present these figures.

Zestawy nie są może najtańsze ale ich jakość jest naprawdę bardzo dobra. W paczuszce dostajemy standardowo po 4 modele konne wraz z jeźdźcami. W zestawie NRM2 dostajemy 4 modele konne wraz z jeźdźcami którzy są na stałe przymocowani do koni. W drugiej paczce NRM7 dostajemy 4 jeźdźców i 4 konie osobno. Dodatkowo włócznie są oddzielnie odlane i należy je przykleić do rączek jeźdźców, którzy mają już gotowe otwory na włócznie.

Kits are perhaps not the cheapest but the quality is really good. In the all packages we get 4 horse models with riders. In NRM2 set we get 4 models with riders who are permanently attached to the horses. In the second package NRM7 we get four riders and four horses separately. Additionally spears are cast separately and must be glued to the hands of riders who have already pre-drilled holes for spears.

Jak widzicie na zdjęciach modele są naprawdę ładnie i szczegółowo odlane. Metal nie wymaga zbyt wiele obróbki. Jest na tyle miękki, że wszystkie nadlewy są łatwe do usunięcia. Wzory figurek są bardzo starannie dobrane. Chociaż w zestawie NRM2 trafiły się dwa takie same wzory. Mnie jakoś specjalnie to nie przeszkadza ale wiem, że niektórzy mogą się czepiać.

As you can see in the pictures the models are really nice and detailed casted. Metal does not require too much processing. It is soft enough that all the flashes and mould lines are easy to remove. Figures design are very carefully chosen. Although in NRM2 I have two identical patterns.

Nie będę się nadmiernie rozpisywał na temat modeli ponieważ wszystko i tak widać na zdjęciach. Każdy z was może ocenić je sam. Mnie się bardzo spodobały, a kupić je możecie tutaj. 

I will not elaborate too much on the models because everything you can see on the pictures. Each of you can evaluate them yourself. I loved them, and you can buy them here.

Corvus Belli 15mm Later Carthaginian Army

Dzisiaj w wielkim skrócie. Chciałbym zaprezentować wam armię, którą mam zamiar pomalować w najbliższym czasie. Pudełko z figurkami leżało u mnie już od dłuższego czasu. W końcu zmobilizował mnie konkurs na najładniejszą armię do DBA forum strategie.net. 

Today, in a nutshell. I would like to show you the army, which I'm going to paint in the near future. A box of igures that I have for a long time. Finally mobilize me competition for the prettiest army for DBA on strategie.net forum (forum only in polish).

Przyznam się szczerze, że DBA nie za bardzo mi odpowiada. Armię tworzę z myślą o Hail Caesar ale jak najbardziej będzie się też nadawała do DBA.

I must admit that the DBA does not quite suits me. I create this army for hail Caesar system but also will match the DBA.

Na skończenie armii jest 5 miesięcy dlatego bez problemu powinienem ją skończyć. Na razie nie mam tylko pomysłu na obóz. Pewnie wybiorę coś z Bauedy. 

To finish the army I have five months, so I should finish it without a problem. At the moment I don't have idea for a camp. I guess I will choose something from Baueda.

FOW - Major Bruno Koenig & Snipers

Model majora Koeniga bazuje na postaci z filmu Wróg U Bram. Kiedy zobaczyłem, że battlefront wypuścił te figurki uznałem, że muszę je mieć. I o to przed wami moje wypociny:)

Major Koenig model is based on the characters from the movie Enemy at the Gates. When I saw that the battlefront has released these figures I decided that I must have them. And that's, my scribble :)
